Jeff hasnt been on here for a couple years. Last I saw him was at Niangua year before last. Ray tells me he has been battling some sort of cancer and it is getting worse. I am telling you this so you can keep him in your thoughts and prayer.

Jeff left us to go spend eternity with his wife this morning.
Was a helluva man and will be missed by many.
Godspeed Jeff.

Reading Gunsmokes obituary, I learned a few things I didnt know. He used to ride a horse everywhere around town when he was a kid. Jeff was famous in our circle for trap mods. He was a whiz at it and he did it unselfishly for many of us. Talking to him, he knew a lot about guns. We discussed a lot about reloading. Down at Niangua, he had some ARs that were pretty tricked out. One was a 9mm and the other was a Creedmore. Lesson to learned here about reaching out to other people and not taking for granted what treasures are right under our nose.
