Ive been asked to take care of a woodchuck or two that have been causing some damage. any suggestions on bait? I was thinking a cage trap for this application given the landowner has pets nearby. any help appreciated --Ratman

Bed the trap firmly near a den, and bait with fresh orange peelings.

Same bait as rabbits....Heres one, Put a live trap out in the garden and plant green beans under it. No whistle pig will pass up bean sprouts and they grow fast.

If pets are a problem, snares in the den entrance is effective tool.
