I usually set up on Black Friday. A whole day of daylight. Yeah John I thought about that too as there doesn’t seem to be a lot of enthusiasm. Our record for users at one time was the night before trapping season. I thought about setting up on Thanksgiving morning. Problem is it's raining. No sense in wasting the morning if dinner is a 1pm. On another note- my barn freezer was full. I threw everything out and unplugged. Nights have been cold so stuff has stayed frozen. I removed a ton of frost and threw a lot away. I put back a tray of bait and some hides and 2 quarter of venison. Now my freezer is half full. I think the freezer is older than I am. |

Might snow tomorrow. Got out both Ruger 10-22s and cleaned them. Loaded magazines. One is iron sight and one has a scope with a "wicked" light. After I go on sunrise patrol, I will fire up the woodstove and put up some fur. I got beaver and yote from the deep freezer episode. Never did set today as I am feeling puny from the toothache and fields are pure slop.
