Looking for a way to keep yots off my property. Or how to trap with out getting other animals. I live in a gated comunity, and it is all woods around here. They cut through my 2.5 acres.

Traps set for coyotes will catch other animals also. Only really selective coyote method would be cable restraints.

I take it there's quite a bit of rural property around you?

On a small piece of land, <40A, a tight fence should keep them off. Build it for goats or hogs and the coyotes will find a way around, especially if the surrounding land is wooded. Gates don't do much without a fence, so maybe you just need to make the fence tighter, fill in the holes?

Are the coyotes causing problems or just cutting through?

Night time fireworks display tends to freak yotes out.
