John, that's just it. All the trappers you know. In all of District 5, I have only met 10-12 trappers at MTA meetings and such (maybe only 4 that were MTA members), 3-4 met at furbuyer's - and of those I actually know three, two of whom I see once or twice a year; yet the MTA shows several members in this county and several dozen in the District. Long story short, these dozens of guys ain't going to tell me and I ain't going to tell them simply because we have never met. They ain't going to hear it from the furbuyer either. News paper ads probably won't reach them because that was tried for at least one meeting with almost zero results. Back in the '80s when we had a dozen local buyers, I knew a lot more trappers and at that time fur news did travel fast. John, change speed for a moment, does the MTA sale have any consignment program where a trapper can ship his goods to sold or does it all have to be in person? I'm a swmo trapper I know quite a few guys who trap they still act like old timers not big to talk about it or advertise it even with other trappers or be members of any group the people who own batsons dog and archery sell traps had a trappers get together last year and had close to 30 people show up over the whole day

Trevis, you'd have to ask Justin Elliot that question cause I'm not sure. I'd think it could possible be done but don't know what shipping cost would be.
