Go the the fabric store and buy a yard of sailcloth and shoot 440s like the rest of us.

It won’t shoot 440s or 445s very well . Probably a 2 inch group . I can touch holes with the denim and 429s. And I have enough patch material for the rest of my and your lifetime

I don't get it. Usually a fat patch is less accurate. I have one gun I patch with silk. Lee sells a .433 for $19.oo.

Well it does, what’s upsetting is my wife has a Seneca that cuts holes with anything you put in it . I never could get the 40 cal barrel to shoot and changed it to a 45 rice barrel .I have shot over 100 rounds of those 429s and it is very yards . All shooting off a bench .
I have to hammer a 433 in that’s why I went with a 429
I also made my own patch lube and bore cleaner , I have been using one that works very well but I recognized the smell , mine seems to work better and does not dry out as fast as the store bought .

Go to the fabric store and spend two dollars rather than look for a custom built mold. That square yard of cotton will give you 1200 shots. As a rule, most patches are thicker than a bed sheet and thinner than denim. That's why pillow ticking is the old standby.

You know whoever (Lyman?) made that one on Ebay made more so they are out there. Most molds that size are for bullets though. So, to be cheaper about this, buy one of the 20$ Lee molds in 380 or 390 and get your favorite machinist buddy to ream it one turn.

Back when blacksmiths made rifles, they provided new owner with a cherry. It was a knurled ball on a shaft that was what the maker deemed perfect size for ball. The new owner spun the ball between two pieces of wood or soapstone to make a mold (mould).
