Anyone know any dealers that might have something similar(g3 gator tough, lowe roughneck, express)? That would help a bunch too. Scrolling through craigslist from the gulf of Mexico to darn near Canada will give ya a migraine. LoL

Ray, leaning away from the lunds. Looking for one that's not decked out, needs to be open metal. Dirt bikes or a 3 wheeler are rough on carpet and wood. *just looked up the alaskan model and it looks pretty tough but but just don't fit the bill. Thanks though! Beaver, thanks for the lead. I'll look them up.

Bad time of year to want to buy a boat. They go for almost half price in the fall. When I lived in the city, I bought dirt cheap in the fall and wished I had bought more when I sold in the spring. Call that old Buzz at Laurie.....

Thanks fellas. Ended up with a 19' G3 center console with a 90hp. Had to drive an hour passed Nashville to get it yesterday. I think I got a helluva good deal too. On another note. Today after leaving drydock I lost power to an engine on the ferry.

Electronic throttle control went out. We were about 10 miles north of drydock. 11 miles up river is a dock I used to work at let us tie off there. Long trip at 1-2 mph.

under water obstacles wont save a jet prop either he hit a large boulder under water running traps at nite on the Missouri river! He was guessing he got to close to a dike! LOL no his name is kevin. My sister lives in bath ill on the Illinois river were they hold the redneck fishing tournments they know all the commercial fisherman their and she said they come and go like the flu. then sell out! you see all kinds of huge john boats parked their! I saw my first 28' john boat their it was huge! if I recall it was a sea ark. I watched the owner pull in and unload Asian carp he caught enough to fill the bed of a chevy dually to the top of the bed lol fish were flopping out

If an jet is set up right you wont hit any thing with the jet unless you shut it down on top of a rock i have ran mine in 3.5 inches of water and not touched anything the jet foot should be level with or just above the bottom of the boat.
