The best way for me to learn is to sit back, drink beer and watch an expert

I am looking forward to Laurie. I always sell a bunch of stuff and buy a bunch and come out even on cash but rich in gear and equipment. This place is a great place to buy reloading components without paying hazmat and freight also.

I can't get a for sure answer from anyone. A helluva difference from 5-6 years ago. One year we had three fur buyers and two taxidermists. Folks were sure happy. Jim Homan will be picking up finished fur for FHA.

That was back in the day when we bought high and sold low. Now we buy low and sell low or pitch. Last time I was there I came as a nonbuyer but Peterman put me to work. This year I have a buying session schedule on that day or I would be there for sure with a keg of beer, beautiful dancing girls, and all the free money you need. haha Sorry I can't make it. It is a great atmosphere. Trappers are good folks!!

It may be 70 but the water temp is the same as if it was 30.

Not where I'M fishin! And I ALWAYS catch 'em. Pure-D FACT.
See ya'll Saturday. I'm in "charge" of a demo. I'm also bringing FOOD. It is "my" clinic. So I have to be there I reckon (although last year I was only there a short while).

What a day. I sold $200 worth of honey and bought $200 worth of traps and hunting gear. I'm happy. Lots of good trapping demos as well as fur handling demos. Pictures to follow. Cletis did a predator set demo. Paul Tenman had his skinning rig and fleshing beam a-going. Dave Druml joined in (he makes it look easy) Don Trkysler did a cat set demo, There was a water set demo at the pond (I missed) Too much stuff going on. Dale was a walking demo. A gentleman named John did a spiel on predator calling. I easily admit I learned something. The newbies and the locals rolled through. There was a CA there to tag cats and otter. Paul cooked like ten gallons of chili. Jim Homan picked up FHA fur. Good stuff. You can tell in times like these with low prices and warm seasons exactly who is dedicated.
