FYI...Went to book a hotel room and the hotel reservation information that is listed on the FTA website is not correct. Holiday Inn, no longer owns the hotel. When I called they gave me the Current ownership reservation number. 785-841-7077, The Lawrence Hotel and Convention center. And as the agent told me by the time the event comes around it may be a Doubletree Inn. They do have rooms blocked out for $89.00 a night. Two types of rooms currently available, One with a king and another with a double, same price. Just a heads up.  |

I Sent an email to the FTA...but they hotel did verify that the block of rooms is for the FTA, so I assume the dates are correct Mike.

Lawrence is 30 minutes from KC. Overland Park is on the Kansas side. Desoto is 20 minutes away. Just giving you some ideas in case Larryville is booked up because of other events.

I figure I'll run over saturday as well, My Jeep engine shot craps, and I cancelled this weeks vacation to save for another day. Picking up the rental car saturday morning in Liberty and I run straight there. To see what I can.

Supposed to rain tomorrow. I committed to helping a guy move but may try to get out of it and cruise. I am an hour to Louisburg and a half hour to Ottawa from there and 30 minutes more on to Lawrence. Pretty much the same way Quantrill took.
