I would like to personally challenge all of you to contact Cletis R. and volunteer to do a demo. At his fish fry at Grand Lake in March. These demos can be very simple as there is always lots of youth and new trappers there. With fur prices down, we need to work even harder to promote what we do! This year would be a great year to give back to the industry!

Could not do better than you did at the last one. Cat set. And Greg the other year on beaver. Cletis seems to know every trapper in the world and pick the good for demos. Never been there when the demos weren't great, one was by a boy about 14 with a drill to make the dirt hole; he slapped that set in pronto.
I will bet that none of these guys will even show up, they haven't before.
Think it was Dallas that skinned a cat for us one year. He also makes dead pig taste great.

Sorry guys, sounds like a good time. The month of march is all about protecting seedcorn from hogs for me.
kmiller, not sure how I made you upset. I do my best to increase oppertunities for all trappers and to promote trapping as a wildlife management tool at every oppertunity I have.

With luck I should kill 250-300 hogs the month of March.

The Twin Bridges deal is a Trapperman event I believe. I cant do a demo because everybody on T-man knows much more than I. I was all hot to go a few years ago until I did a map search and found out it was in OK 3 hours each way. Heck that's further than TJMs place.

There were a couple guys from Tman that wanted to go and I wanted to meet them. Then they back out.... Alot of guys want to go snagging too and that's a silly notion. Out on the lake in a boat while the doings are going on. I might surprise you someday. I know I surprise me a lot......
