Do whatever trips your trigger! Some do, some don't. I relax mine.

well i guess whatever will be fine. some yes and some no. most of mine are but my knew 160s are still set and dont want to relax them.

I loaned a 220 victor to a fellow a few years back for coons in his attic. I told him he could return the trap after he was through. About 5 years later I retrieved that trap from the attic(after bringing it up to him several times)and the trap was still set. The trap springs felt as strong as they always had, but I still store mine unset.
