Caught another badger and it has been raining this morning. Dang them things can make a mess!

Yep they sure do! In western SD they dig down and dig out prairie dogs and also seen in the dead of winter them dig down in the middle of a gravel road out west as well, and they will dig in frozen ground beneath road killed deer and lay claim to the entire carcass fighting with all they have on anything that tries to steal from such a buffet . The good western ones caught at this time of year have very nice fur though. Prairie dog towns and loud skunked up lures are money for badgers.

Here is one I caught out west this year, and had my first check with a bunch of mud balls like these coyotes. They had a 2" hose I was able to wash them with. First check was 27 yotes and 6 coon, 3/4 looked like these 3.

always carried a shovel with me in western ks.... filled in some big ole bombed up spots haha
