So I've been hearing and reading that the fur prices this year are real low. Not good. Still going to keep on trapping because I'm more about the thrill than the money. But the money would be nice!

Yep I'm just having a play line for coon and beaver. Otherwise it's targeting stuff I've never caught otter check grey fox not yet coyote not yet Bobcat not yet

Yep same here. Still trapping the coons but on to catching the fur that's worth something. Good luck!

Took 7 coin in this morning. 3 that I put up myself(apparently I've been stretching it wrong) And 4 green . I got 2 @ $6 2 @ $4 2@ $2 And 1 @ $1
It was actually the put up fur that I got bottom dollar for. I'm honestly happy with what it was. Just traded him for 2 dp's and called it good.

Some of us have been through this before. I remember the late 70s and early eighties when everybody was picking up road kill and spotlighting in the name of fur. Over the years it went down and recently came up again. Now its down. The country buyers lost their shirts last year buying $20 green coon and getting $10 at auction for put up fur. As a result, they are buying real low as a caution. You might be surprised what auction brings this year. I dont expect coon to take of real good but some other species may be a "sleeper"....
