I was t the RK gun show in Springfield over the weekend. I saw one. Cheap too. $250. TC Hawken. Brass was dull but I couldn't find anything wrong for it.

I prefer .45's. They shoot faster and flatter than .50s.....

I ben wining the last 3 black powder shoots with TC Hawken 50cal. I think will cut them some slack in the spring an compete with my 62 cal smooth-bore

If you got a TC then just get a barrel. I got an old .45 flint KY rifle and it is just about become a smooth bore.

Krank is right about the barrel. I used a 50 cal kit gun and put a Green Mountain drop in barrel on it. Shoots good too with the 1:60 round ball twist. Cains Outdoors is where I got it from. Good guys to deal with!
