The duke 1.75 today ain't no different from the Victor pro 1.75 in the past, and Victor use to be the top dog at one time.
Bridger is no different from the duke except for the chain and swivel.
Do your measurements on everything and the density of the metal, then do your comparison.
Dukes are made in China, Bridger's are made in Taiwan. Pretty close to comparison there.
And yea, Mofo dose have experience.

Seems the poop just hit the fan!!!
As far as "big number guys" Bridger and Northwood is probably giving those guy's the traps to run their name anyway. You don't need a #2 or #3 for your "go to trap" for coyotes. Hell, Mark June uses a 1.75 on his land trap line and catches coyotes and bobcat with them just as I do, and he is a "big number guy".
So lets talk experience Bigjohn. Seems you was posting on here last year of what you caught before most land trappers even started running their line. How long was your line, to the end of your driveway and back?

Rod,didn't even set until the day after Thanksgiving last year,as usual.Don't believe I set a predator set until Dec. Don't know why my numbers would interest you,but those that know me and have seen my catches will tell you I don't just trap for fun. I seriously doubt if the "big number guys" have anyone give them traps, hell hobby trappers buy more traps overall than the pros. Like I said before,a dozen people will give a dozen answers and new folks should buy a few of each to make up their mind what they want to use. Some will need alot of work, some will do a so-so job,and then they'll find what works best in their area. Not much difference than the Ford vs Chevy vs Dodge.

The #4 Duke is an exact copy of the #3 Bridger which is an exact copy of a #3 Northwoods...
And Waddell (as much as I hate to admit it 'cuz he's an IDJIT) is about as big-numbers of a guy that there is. He uses mostly Dukes (and I'll guarantee he doesn't have to buy them all). I myself love my Bridgers.

ok, ya all just had to go there so I have to chime in here... many years back my now son in law was dating my daughter, when I came home and said who's piece of chevy is that in my driveway... well he quickly became a Ford man... Chrysler was pulled out of the hole by an ole Ford man and did well till he left and the foreners bought it up and raped it of all their assets. As for the piece of chevy, well their now part of the socialist company's owned by the existing socialist regime in this country that was once the peoples. I'm retired from Ford so hope and pray they keep the check coming, I'll be a happy camper. Did notice most of the folks at the get together drove Fords... Good bunch of folks.

I bought some duke 1.75 offset and used them last year. All I did to those was base plated them and added swivels, never had a pull out. Speaking of pull outs, how is your pan tension set, are you gettin a deep pad catch or just toe catches for them to pull out. Are they rolling your set? I have held many coyotes in 1.5 before because of my pan tension. X1000!!!!! all my yotes last year were caught in DUKE 1.75 traps... If a bridger is a northwwoods, and a northwoods is a Duke with a square jaw, what is a Bridger? HMMMMM, A DUKE WITH SQUARE JAWS!!!!!
