Has anyone laid hands on these yet? Curious how well built they are and if they are a push/pull trigger.

Looks like a good dp....Several well thought out features. The round pull trigger is a big advantage and the swivel chain on the stake. For 12 bucks they are right in there with the rest.

They are pull trigger only. it looks to be a good DP trap. Priced now until the end of April at $140.00 per dozen. They will go up in price May 1st, I think up to 150.00 a dozen......I am thinking about making a purchase

I think they are a good buy. I'll go out on a limb and say they look better designed than a duke. For the same $ you can buy DHDPs or Daggers.....Missouri Products.

I ordered 6 and recieved them yesterday. At first glance they look like a grizz grenade except for the bracket on top. Music wire springs. I am curious about the opening though. The loop that hols the foot is exposed instead of beng guarded by the front of the pipe. The body is 2 piece that has been spot welded together. I plan to give them a rust and dye them in the coming weeks and I guess they will be ready for the season. I'll look the trigger over and make sure there are no burrsbto file off but it is a heavy trap that should hold up.

The swivel is a problem.
I designed that stabilizer and gave it to Bill Duke. The problem with that swivel is that you can not shove the stabilizer all the way into the ground before the swivel is hitting the dirt.

I want to figger this out so I gotta ask.......I thought it was good having the stake as part of the chain and put it in the line of pull. I have seen some stabilizers that get in the way during a struggle. Putting it into the line of pull seems good. If a swivel is caked in mud then doesnt it still swivel?

My only experience is with the Grizzs but these have a swivel attached to the swivel that attaches to the stake, if that makes sense to ya. They also have a swivel on the end of the chain. I may have to put another one in the center if I have issues with this set up.
