saw somewhere where people were taking the old Victor #2 Square jaws and taking the jaws off of them and putting diffrent jaws on them but i dont know which jaw to use. i cant seem to find the thread now i was thinking it was a 1.75 jaw off of something but i dont know what and i cant find the thread now. i have 2 doz of them and have them baseplated, nightlatched, and #2 music wire springs, they are in good working order but i would like to change the jaws out on them to make them a little better. most of them are low lever traps where the jaw tips turn to the inside and they are pretty loose. was hopeing some of you all might have done this before and could let me know what jaws to use.

I personaly never used them so I can't really say. However I like the way they turned out these where low lever reverse jaw tip traps and you can see in the pic how high the levers go up on the round jaws... I gave these traps to creekrunner for a "welcome to trapping" gift and he caught his first cat in one of them. It was a big tom with a bad additude and the trap held it just fine...

How do you actully get the jaws off and on? Mine don't need replaced, but just wondering, and don't say just bend them.
