THem coon are stinky little boogers to gut. Dad says they used to market hunt cottontails in the 1950's. They gutted them and left fur on and hung them under the eave of the shed to freeze. They filled an orange crate and took it to the post office and sent to Louisiana. Got 50 cents apiece. He said you could shoot rabbits until you ran out of shells. LOL, I know a guy that will shoot deer all day long, but when it comes time to gut them he runs off puking! I won't field dress his deer, it he can't hack it he should stay in the house! He's also scared of squirrels!

If a guy had the freezer space, he might just want to save some of the nicer coon and beaver. That way if somebody wants some wild game then you already have it. Some organizations put on wild game feeds and they might want them. Otherwise set them out later in the winter. Shoot coyotes off them.
