Here's a few photos of our 15th Annual Youth Waterfowl Clinic that was held today.
Duck Calling Class
Clay Target Class
Retriever Demonstration
Barb Green, Duck ID Instructor
Shotgun Patterning & Subtending Class
Student Group
Flocked-N-Locked raffled off a shotgun to help fund the clinic. The winning ticket was purchased by a guy that contributed $100, and requested that if his name was drawn, the gun should be given to one of the kids at the clinic by another free drawing. Tanner Lambeth of Christian County was the proud (and surprised) winner.
FOOD!! Real KC style BBQ ribs, sausage and turkey, thanks to Wal-Mart and "Swine, Wine and Dine".
It was a really great time, and the weather was perfect! Next Saturday we get to take all the kids duck hunting. A special thanks to all the members of the KC Chapter of Safari Club International.

Oh man we are flooding again! Had to call the hunt off last year because of major floods, but looks like hip boots will get us through this one. The weather is warm now, at 11 pm it's 66 degrees. If the forecast is correct, things should work out for this Saturday. Keeping our fingers crossed for the kids special duck hunting day. And best of luck to the kids hunting deer this weekend!
